| Seth E K Fortune

Many people live on the streets of Cape Town. For various reasons they either cannot enter shelters or do not wish to stay in shelters.

Several families live at the gates of Parliament. Many more are sprinkled about the streets of the inner city, a lot of them children. But statistics on the extent of street living in Cape Town are hard to come by.

Seth Fortune took some touching photographs of homeless people in Mowbray. We hope these remind our readers of the need to find solutions to this difficult problem.
