Numerous people have asked us how they can help Nomahlubi Mbulu, the mother of three children, two of whom are severely disabled.

Before we published the article, Nomahlubi did not have a bank account. But she opened one in the last few days. You can therefore help her in two ways:

  • Make a donation into Nomahlubi’s personal account: Capitec, 1181135298.
  • Drop off clothing at the GroundUp office on any weekday (9am to 4pm) between now and Wednesday 18 May. Please make sure clothing is in at least a packet and clean. We will take the donated clothes to her on Thursday 19 May. Our address is Suite 08SB, 1st floor, South Block, Tannery Park, 21 Belmont Road, Rondebosch, Cape Town 7700
    (Google Map).

Also, members of a health organisation in Crossroads called SACLA have undertaken to visit and assist Nomahlubi.

Thank you for the wonderful response and generosity.
