GroundUp team expands
New appointments have been made at GroundUp.
Alide Dasnois, the former editor of the Cape Times, has joined GroundUp as a part-time Associate Editor.
The appointment of Dasnois, who won this year’s Nat Nakasa award for courage and integrity in journalism, is one of several changes to the GroundUp team. Barbara Maregele, former intern at the Cape Times, and Daneel Knoetze, former reporter at the Cape Argus, have joined the reporting staff. Pharie Sefali, former intern at GroundUp, has been appointed reporter and freelance photographer Masixole Feni has been appointed photographer.
