Political parties unite in call for president to go

Opposition political parties united on Wednesday, and brought tens of thousands of people together to march on the Union Buildings, calling for President Jacob Zuma to go.
The lawns in front of the Union Buildings were packed with people, mostly dressed in red, the EFF’s colours.EFF members make their way through the streets of Pretoria.Protesters carried a wide variety of placards, but the theme was consistent.A man waits for the march to start.DA and EFF protesters marched together.Protesters mounted statues and waved flags and banners.Protesters were diverse in their style.These protesters set alight a coffin with President Zuma’s name on it. This was the start of the protest at Church Square.Leaders of the various political parties stood together at the front of the march.A cordon of police stood in front of the Union Buildings.
