GroundUp: Any Challenges in your soccer career?
Shongwe: Yes, the whole of the 2010/2011 I didn't play. It was a challenge and a total bad experience. Then last year I got injured. I felt down but it didn't make me give up on my career. It's small things like this that test you in your career you should remain patient.
GroundUp: How has the season been for you?
Shongwe: The season has been good for me because I managed to play, even though for our team it isn't that good. We are 16th on the log but definitely working our way up as a team.
GroundUp: Do you think you guys are ready for the upcoming chiefs game?
Shongwe: We are not yet ready, but we are preparing and working hard. I think our friendly games will also help us.
GroundUp: What is your message to youth?
Shongwe: Stay humble and keep focussed.
